This demo highlights research performed at Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine with a dataset of more than 400 million proteins. The demo, featuring the Intel® Scalable System Framework, the Intel® Xeon Phi™ processor, and the Intel® HPC Orchestrator, uses algorithms to analyze a virtual library of chemical compounds and predict those whose chemical and other properties make them likely possibilities to target a particular protein of interest. The result is more effective treatment options for patients at a much faster pace.
