The ROME System was developed at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School and funded in part by Intel® Parallel Computing Centers. This demo uses the ROME System, the Intel® Xeon Phi™ processor, and Intel® Scalable System Framework to rapidly assemble 2D Cryo-EM images into 3D high-resolution structures. The 3D reconstruction is visualized with VMD integrated with the Intel’s OSPRay ray tracing library.
