We make overclocking memory easy with Intel Extreme Memory Profile (Intel XMP) technology. Compatible XMP modules allow you to easily overclock DRAM by selecting the appropriate profile instead of adjusting individual parameters in the BIOS. Advanced users can even define their own settings and save them to a profile. Intel XMP 3.0 is the latest iteration, supporting DDR5, but it all started years ago with DDR3.
