In this session you will learn the basics of how AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) works and how AWS KMS can help you protect sensitive data across AWS integrated services and inside your customized applications. We will also provide some performance, protection, and policy tips for navigating AWS KMS advanced features in attribute bases access control, encryption key caching, and improved policy management. You will also learn about AWS KMS functionality that can be used for a broad range of use cases, including data protection, key management, digital signing, and the newly launched HMAC feature.
