The NetEngine40E (NE40E) series are Huawei's high-end universal service routers, intended mainly to serve as edge nodes on IP backbone networks, IP metro networks, and other large-scale IP networks. At present, NE40Es have been widely deployed in power, transportation, government, finance, and other industries.
