NGD Europe was originally the FAB building, part of the Hynix semiconductor facility. Built for the Korean electronics company LG, it comprised three buildings with an area totalling some 116,000m2 served by a direct primary electricity substation with up to 180MVA of power. Constructed to US Federal standards, the FAB building is earthquake-proof and is connected to power, water and telecommunications supplies.
