How to Backup your Website Files in cPanel (x3)

In this guide I will show you how to backup the files for your website in cPanel. Performing a a partial backup of your Home directory allows you to easily restore the files yourself. Keep in mind, a full backup often requires you to contact support to restore. Using the partial backup option allows you to restore the files yourself.

Here is a summary of the steps to backup your website:
1. Login to cPanel
2. Click Backups in the Files section of cPanel
3. Click the "Home Directory" button to download a compressed copy of your files.
4. Save the backup file to a safe location, such as an external drive, or Disk.
