Intel's newest performance x86 core architecture is designed for speed, pushing the limits of low latency and single threaded application performance, all while maintaining efficiency. Performance-core is not only the highest performing CPU core Intel has ever built for general purpose compute across laptops, desktops and data centers, but it also delivers a step function in CPU architecture performance with new technologies like AMX targeted to the data center, to dramatically increase the IPC of AI applications.
