With cloud gaming, players can play games on devices they already own, without the need to purchase a console, PC, or app. There are no lengthy downloads, installs, or updates required because games live in the cloud. In this Tech Talk, you will learn how to use Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) G5 and G5g instances to extend the flexibility, scalability, and cost benefits of AWS to game streaming. You will also see examples on how to produce high fidelity games in real time on G5 instances while simplifying development effort, reducing time to market, and lowering the cost-per-stream per hour by up to 30% compared to x86-based GPU instances. You will also learn how game streaming customers run Android games natively on G5g instances, encode the rendered graphics, and stream the game over the network to a mobile device, all without needing cross-compilation or emulation.
