In this HostPapa tutorial, we show you how to manage files in LeapFTP.

This tutorial assumes you’ve already had LeapFTP running on your computer and connected to a remote server.

We will start by creating a new folder, right-click in the remote server window and click the New Folder Icon. Enter the new folders name. You can rename the folder by following similar steps or you could delete the folder.

To change File/Folder permissions, click the properties icon. To change the file permissions simply enter the new permissions values or check off the appropriate permissions box. Once you are done select ok.

You can also view the contents of a file on the remote server, without having to download it. To do so simply click the file and then the View icon.
