In this HostPapa tutorial, we show you how to set up hotlink protection in cPanel.


Hotlink protection is used so people can't link directly to images on your website. If you don't set up hotlink protection other sites can link to your images causing your website to be slowed down. Ensure hotlink protection is enabled to improve your website security.


To start, scroll down to the "Security" section of your cPanel dashboard and click on the "Hotlink Protection" icon.
