In this HostPapa tutorial, we show you how to restore a Joomla! backup made with cPanel.
Log into your cPanel and then click on databases. Click on MySQL Databases. In the new database field type a name. and click create.
In the main menu go to the PHPmyAdmin and make a copy of your database. This copy is made so that you have a backup in case the restoration into the main database fails.
Go back to the main menu and click backups. In the restore database, you can select the database that you backed up and click restore.
