Developers are leveraging JSON and document databases because the flexible, semi-structured, and hierarchical nature of documents allows them to evolve with applications’ needs. We built Amazon DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility) because enterprise customers wanted to manage their JSON workloads at scale. In this session, we will introduce our newest Amazon DocumentDB features, DML (Data Manipulation Language) query auditing and Decimal128, plus we will cover how new users can get started for free!

Learning Objectives:
* Objective 1: Learn about DML query auditing and how it enables customers to audit INSERT, DELETE, UPDATE, and READ queries on their cluster.
* Objective 2: Learn about Decimal128 and how it allows customers to use decimal data with Amazon DocumentDB.
* Objective 3: Learn how to get started with the service for free with our new free tier offering.
