With E-Rate funding, the Salem School District was able to refresh 170 Wi-Fi access points across their five elementary schools. Their robust network infrastructure now enables them to flexibly connect wireless devices to the Internet, as well as to projectors in the classrooms. The Salem School District serves 3,500 students in five elementary schools, middle school, high school, and the Salem Career & Technical Education Center.

When applying for E-Rate assistance, IT Director David Hasbany recommends a strong collaboration across departments within the school district, including IT, finance, and administration.
