The Ministry of National Defense (MND) in South Korea operates more than 5,000 i-cafés within military barracks as part of a knowledge-welfare program to assist nearly 400,000 enlisted soldiers to learn, self-develop, and communicate with society. MMAAC&C has developed Guardian Eye, a remote management solution based on Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT), to efficiently manage approximately 50,000 PCs. Having obtained recognition by the MND for its value, all existing PCs within military i-cafés were replaced with Intel® Core™ vPro™ processor-based PCs. 95 percent of PC failures are being remotely serviced quickly and efficiently through this effort.
